How have you been my creatives?! This week I've been like a kid in a creative London sweet shop as this week sees the London Design Festival hit our streets! My first stop was DesignJunction and I just couldn't wait to see what intriguing delights this show had to offer! One of my first stops was Canteen's pop up TFL restaurant. Based on the old skool canteens of London Transport, designer Michael Sodeau has delved into their creative archive to create this iconic, open, authentic space.
Following on from my dining high I looked around the rest of the show. With so many great exhibitors I thought I'd let their work speak for themselves! One of my HOP favourites were these great stools and lighting fixtures by Simon Hasan. An up-and-coming designer, Simon has worked the leather using a medieval manufacturing technique. I could really see this in a boutique bar or a male concept store. Another of my key favourites was Orla Kiely's new home range. Can't wait to blog about it! - Eeeeeek!
Did you get a chance to go to DesignJunction? What did you think and what items caught your eye?
